In our 2 part series on the reliability of the New Testament, we take a look at the impact all the textual variants - differences between the thousands of ancient New Testament manuscripts - has on that reliability.

Pastor Clinton picks up his sermon series on Galatians from a few months back. In the apostle Paul's letter to the churches in a region known back then as Galatia, he's been going after false teaching and false teachers that made keeping Moses' Law a salvation issue. Pastor David shares Paul's instructions on how wives, husbands, kids, and dads all work together to create this!

After writing about how believers are to "put to death" sinful things and to "put on" spiritual things, the apostle Paul turns his focus onto two things believers need to let happen and one all-encompassing "whatever" instruction when it come to what they say and do. Pastor David explores these, drawing out their importance and application in our lives.

I would like to retract a statement I made while preaching this message. I stated that Jesus suffered because of sinful desires that came from his flesh, and he had to put those to death just as we do. This was an error on my part. While Jesus was born 'in the likeness of sinful flesh' (Romans 8:3), had the same limitations and weaknesses in the body as we do resulting from sin entering the world through Adam, and was able to be tempted, he did not have a sin nature as we do.
