The religious leaders in Jesus day loved studying Scripture. They poured over it, memorized it, examined it thoroughly, word by word, line by line, and taught it to the Israelites. Despite all that though, they’d somehow managed to totally miss the most important thing those Scriptures were testifying about. As Pastor David continues his series in John 5, he reveals what that was and how believers today can avoid “missing the forest for the trees” like the religious leaders did when we dive into Scripture.
