In part one of his summer series on the historical narrative of Gideon found in the Bible, Pastor David introduces us to Gideon, one of Israel’s judges. We catch up with Gideon down inside a winepress hiding his grain harvest from the Midianites, a nation that had made life miserable for the Israelites. Life is about to get very interesting though, as he gets visited by an angel, called to take on the entire Midianite army, and sent on a covert night mission for God.
